Free review of your opening paragraph
The first sentence decides how the rest of your statement is read. Paste yours and a writer will tell you what an admissions reader would take from it.

Questions
Is this actually free?
Yes, once per applicant, with no call attached. It is a genuinely small piece of work, one paragraph, read by a writer, answered in a few sentences, and it is offered because most people cannot tell whether their opening is good, and finding out costs us fifteen minutes.
Why only the opening paragraph?
Because it is where most statements are lost, and because a full review is a job we charge for. If the opening is generic the reader's expectation for the rest is set before they reach it, so it is also the highest-leverage paragraph to fix.
Will you rewrite it for me?
No. You will get an assessment and a direction, not a replacement paragraph. Rewriting is the editing service, and it costs money.
What happens to what I send?
A writer reads it and replies. It is not published, not used as a sample, and not added to any list. If you want it deleted after the reply, say so and it will be.
